Questions about hiring a pool contractor in Marathon
How many pool contractors are in Marathon?
This directory lists 3 pool contractors for Marathon, all with at least one Google review. They average 4.7 out of 5 across 22 reviews.
Which pool services are most common in Marathon?
The most common services on listings here are pool repair (3 of 3), resurfacing and plaster (1 of 3), spas and hot tubs (1 of 3) and cleaning and maintenance (1 of 3).
Do any pool companies in Marathon offer financing?
Financing is not mentioned on any of the 2 websites we read. Some builders still work with lenders or offer staged payments, so it is worth asking when you call.
How should I compare pool quotes in Marathon?
Ask each company to quote the same pool: size and shape, interior finish, decking, equipment, lighting and any screen enclosure work. Check who pulls the permits, how payments are scheduled and what each warranty covers. A lower price that leaves out the deck or the electrical work is not really lower.
What should I ask Marathon pool contractors about licensing?
Florida generally requires a state-licensed pool/spa contractor to build or remodel a pool, and certified pool/spa license numbers start with CPC. Look up any number on myfloridalicense.com, the state's DBPR site. Cleaning-only companies are not always licensed contractors, which is fine for weekly service but not for structural, plumbing or electrical work. No website we read for Marathon mentions licensing, so ask each company for its license number.
