Questions about hiring a pool contractor in St Johns

How many pool contractors are in St Johns?

This directory lists 2 pool contractors for St Johns, all with at least one Google review. They average 4.3 out of 5 across 106 reviews. Another 96 are listed in cities within about 15 miles.

Which pool services are most common in St Johns?

Do any pool companies in St Johns offer financing?

Yes. Agua Pools North Florida mentions financing on its website. Terms and lenders vary, so get the details in writing.

How should I compare pool quotes in St Johns?

Ask each company to quote the same pool: size and shape, interior finish, decking, equipment, lighting and any screen enclosure work. Check who pulls the permits, how payments are scheduled and what each warranty covers. A lower price that leaves out the deck or the electrical work is not really lower.

What should I ask St Johns pool contractors about licensing?

Florida generally requires a state-licensed pool/spa contractor to build or remodel a pool, and certified pool/spa license numbers start with CPC. Look up any number on myfloridalicense.com, the state's DBPR site. Cleaning-only companies are not always licensed contractors, which is fine for weekly service but not for structural, plumbing or electrical work. Licensing is mentioned on the one website we read for St Johns, though none of them show a license number.
